Our Staff

Dr. Dean Sophocles is a member of the American Dental Association. He pairs his philosophy of minimally invasive dentistry with an intensive care for the needs of each patient. Along with our highly trained staff, Dr. Sophocles brings you the best in family, cosmetic, and implant dentistry.

Long-time Swarthmore dentist Dr. Joseph Paradine joined the practice in September 2006. In November 2011, Providence Dental Associates welcomed Dr. Scott Nakamura to the practice.

Our dentists maintain a close network of the finest specialists in the tri-state area. If we feel that a procedure cannot be performed at our office, or if we feel that a consultation is needed, you will be referred to one of these fine specialists.

Our clinical assistants, Cynthia and Rachel, and our dental hygienists, Carol and Cat, will work with our doctors to provide a comfortable and sterile environment and to make you feel right at home.
